Since the day we launched in 2010, we’ve pioneered ideas, designed products, and developed technologies that help people see—from designer-quality prescription glasses and contacts to eye exams and vision tests.
We want to demonstrate that a business can scale and do good in the world, without charging a premium for it. And we’ve learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to do just that.

Our impact
For every pair of glasses we sell, a pair is distributed to someone in need through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program. We work with a group of organizations worldwide to make this happen, and via our partnerships, we are able to prioritize communities with high levels of unmet need for vision care and eyeglasses.
The program has distributed 15 million pairs of glasses thus far—which means over 15 million more people now have the glasses they need to learn, work, and achieve better economic outcomes. And we’re only just getting started.
